Internal Locking Cage

Our GuardShack Internal Locking Cages offer an alternative security option. In these enclosures the eyebolt and lock is located inside the cage itself prohibiting attempted tampering with Sawzalls or Bolt Cutters. The lock is accessed by reaching your hand inside the enclosure.

These enclosures are constructed of strong 1 1/2" Schedule 40 pipe (never tubing), 1/2" #13 gauge expanded metal and meticulously welded every 4 inches and exceeds ASSE Structural Strength Standards. (see full specs for more information)

These enclosures are professionally powder coated to exacting standards for lasting durability, in environmentally friendly premium finishes.

They are all lift off Lift off Style and come with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in material and workmanship.

Standard Sizes

The Guardshack Internal Locking Line comes in 3 standard sizes to protect a wide range of 2" diameter and under, backflow assemblies and other smaller assets such as pumps, meters, control valves, air vacuum relief valves and more. Custom Sizes Available.

Premium Hardware Included

Hardware kits come with upgraded 3/8” Forged Hot Dipped Galvanized Eyebolts (with powder coated models), or 3/8” Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel Eyebolts (with Coast GuardShack models). These are stronger and more resistant to thieves.

Our cages come with all installation hardware for wet concrete installation (Lift-Off models) or dry concrete installation (Hinged models) and for use with our Pre-Fab EncPad™ Enclosure Bases (where applicable.

All our enclosures are professionally powder coated to exacting standards for lasting durability, in environmentally friendly premium finishes. Premium powder coating begins with a five-part metal cleaning and iron phosphate solution treatment. Units are further preheated before applying 2-3 millimeter thick polyester powder conforming to A.S.T.M. Impact Resistant and Adhesive specifications. Custom Color Available.

Quality Materials & Workmanship

The Guardshack series is constructed using stout 1 ¼” Schedule 40 A.S.T.M. Grade A Electric Weld steel pipe. Other competitors use lighter, cheaper tubing which is easily dented and damaged in transit and in the field.
We use sturdy ½” #13 gauge expanded metal allowing our cages to pass lab tests that exceed 300 lbs of weight per square Foot
All welds are meticulously placed at least every 4 inches making our cages exceed ASSE 1060-98 Structural Strength Standards.
Welds, rough spots & edges are carefully ground down leaving a smooth to the touch enclosures with never any sharp edges.
