Blackjack™ Adjustable Pipe Supports

Most municipalities specify pipe supports with the installation of large diameter backflow assemblies to help support the weight of the gate valves and relieve pressure on the ductile iron 90’s. Additionally, pipe supports are used for any long expanse of heavy pipe with no weight support in between junctions.

They are available in 4 standard sizes to accommodate up to 18” diameter pipe, at varying heights of pipe. They come standard with a "Set and Forget" adjustable hex nut and screw that allows you to customize the height of you install job. They are also powder coated to GuardShack's™ exacting standards for long term durability.

Pre-drilled base plate

The 6"x 6" base plate is made of 3/16" thick steel and has pre-drilled holes for securing the pipe support to a concrete pad.
Set & Forget Screw

The Zinc plated "Set and Forget" adjustable hex nut and Stainless Steel set screw, allows you to customize the height of the pipe support to your installation job. Additionally the pipe can be cut down in the field to further adjust the height.
Steel Saddle

Smaller models of Pipe Supports have arced 2” wide by 3/16” thick Steel Saddles while the heavier duty APS-5 has a 1/4” thick saddle and are powder coated. Each saddle is attached to zinc plated All-Thread which allow you to adjust the height of the support.

Powder Coat

State-of-the-art aeronautics industry five step metal cleaning process and iron phosphate solution treatment. Units preheated before applying 2.0-4.0 mil thickness polyester powder to A.S.T.M. D-2794 Impact Resistant and A.S.T.M. D-3359 Adhesive Specifications

Included Hardware

Each pipe support comes with all hardware needed to set and secure our pipe supports.

Hardware includes, Allen Wrench for setting the height of the pipe support, Lag Shields, Screws, Washers to anchor pipe support to concrete pad.
